Runway walking

"Walk through life as if you're walking on a runway: confidently, gracefully, and with your head held high." – Karl Lagerfeld

The runway walking course helps children and teenagers master the art of a professional catwalk, forming the foundation for a successful career in the modeling industry. Lessons include learning proper foot placement, weight distribution, and walking techniques to ensure movements appear effortless and confident. Particular attention is given to posture—keeping a straight back, relaxed shoulders, and graceful arm positions. Participants also learn to adapt their walk to various clothing styles, from flowing evening gowns to sporty outfits, essential for future fashion shows.

Additionally, students are introduced to basic choreography and practice expressing emotions through facial expressions to connect confidently with an audience. Guided by experienced instructors, they overcome stage fright, building self-assurance and poise. Lessons are conducted in a playful yet disciplined manner, making the learning process both engaging and productive.

Historical Note

The art of runway walking originated in France in the early 20th century when fashion shows became public events. Initially, designers showcased their creations in salons, but over time, runway presentations evolved into a distinct form of performance art. Today, a model's walk is not just about displaying clothing—it’s also a unique form of self-expression.
